The world recognizes that Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education is the catalyst for economic and social transformation of countries. The technological era is here and countries which seek massive economic growth, one that affects real lives, have no choice than to invest in STEM education. It is therefore the aim of OAU Foundation to foster this transformation through the adoption of STEM education for every African student, be they of rich or poor parentage, boy or girl, able or challenged. The Foundation needs every African and friends of Africa to join the effort to make this dream come true.

OAU Foundation is an active participant. It aims to help maintain the highest standards, make STEM education affordable for the communities it serves, and support students to transition into change makers and socio-economic innovators through tertiary education all over the continent. OneAfrica University of Computer Science, Technology and Engineering Foundation therefore aims to raise funds to support social programs that will help OneAfrica University of Computer Science Technology and Engineering (OAU-CSTE) promote high quality and internationally competitive teaching, learning, research, innovation, public service, and industrialization to transform and add values to African natural resources. The programs will also emphasize entrepreneurship in students with the understanding that such thinking will stimulate minds and catalyze economic growth and sustainable development in Africa.

We aim to create the new lens that will give the African youth the clairvoyance to see the myriad of opportunities in Africa, and not to risk their lives on perilous journeys that have drowned thousands of dreams. OAU Foundation aims to empower the African youth with STEM education to challenge the future with transformational ideas that will birth solutions to the problems of the continent through innovation at home.
